Geneva, day two

We planned to go on a mountain hike near Geneva, but the menacing skies forced us to reconsider. Instead we opted to walk along Lake Geneva. On this blustery day, we warmed up with drinks at a café and then we visited the International Red Cross Museum. This museum is small but has a lot of artifacts on display, such as records of prisoners of war from World War I.

Afterward, some of us went to a fair that was held in the city center, for debt forgiveness or a similar cause. All in all, there is not a lot to see or do in Geneva. Still, in some respects it seems like a nice place to live; it's peaceful and has clean air and water.
